I met her in the springtime, her laughter brought me sunshine

She loved me thru the summer of that year

She said I’ll love you forever, and I’ll leave you never

Let’s pledge our love together thru the years

But for many, many reasons, love changes like the seasons

Losing her became my greatest fear

Autumn found her restless when I put my arms around her

I could feel those changes drawing near

The chill of winter brought my greatest fear
